Marc spoke on the Israelites continuous struggle to get Egypt out of their hearts. Despite the Israelites having seen God's faithfulness through various miraculous moments, they struggled to have faith that God would give them the Promised Land. The Israelites continued to struggle with obedience because they had not had their hearts formed in such a way to remove Egypt and become Israel. Israel continued to struggle with building idols and losing faith by trusting the ways they used to know. Marc challenged us to continuously allow the Holy Spirit to evaluate our hearts and minds to rid us of our idols.
