When our Saviour Jesus ascended back to Heaven, He commissioned His followers to GO in to the world ... into the brokenness ... into the hurt ... with the love and forgiveness of our Heavenly Father and walk with them as the begin to follow Jesus.
Ephesians 5:8
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light
We are created and gifted to shine on those who live in darkness to guide them to the path of reconciliation and healing and forgiveness Through Jesus Christ!
The only way darkness will overcome light is when light refuses to shine
